NOW WE CAN

United Nations Environment Programme Climate and Clean Air Coalition

BRINGING POLLUTANTS TO LIFE WITH an ANimated universe and character creation

Super pollutants (such as methane or black carbon) are responsible for nearly half of global warming to date. The UN’s Climate and Clean Air Coalition already has many of the solutions ready to go to tackle this issue globally, we just needed to raise awareness and ambition.

We launched ‘Now We Can' during Climate Week NYC to get everyone talking about super-pollutants. Creating a character led universe that made an invisible issue memorable. Led by a hero film aired at the UN conference, and with support from cutdowns, social, audio, a landing page, merch and event collateral, and wild posting.

The work created a unique and ownable voice for the CCAC’s comms, and ‘Now We Can’ has grown into a consistent brand platform, with the visual identity and assets being adopted by the network to help communicate their mission.

Text at the top reads: "Like most things that have the word 'meth' in them, methane is actually really, really bad for you." At the bottom, a message encourages reducing super pollutants to fight climate change, with a logo of the Climate & Clean Air Coalition.
