A CAMPAIGN CELEBRATING THE END OF LOCKDOWN
At the end of April 2021, we’d all spent a long time living a life that was a long, long way from normal. Our homes had been offices, classrooms, restaurants and gyms, but so empty.
As notonthehighstreet ventured further into ‘self-purchase’ — in line with their overall business strategy to become more than a gifting destination — this campaign was designed to help people rediscover themselves as the nation slowly began moving out of lockdown.
We knew there was a real contrast of excitement and anxiety, and we wanted this campaign to feel like a parent holding their child’s hand while they take their first steps out into the world. Personally, it was a joy to write a script in the style of one of my favourite poets.
